HARIR is a Lead Data Engineer with over 14 years of experience in the field of data engineering, ETL, ML, integration, testing, CI/CD, and infrastructure. He is currently working as a Lead Data Engineer at a private company, where he is responsible for building and designing robust data engineering pipelines and automating the data science model deployments using various tools and technologies. HARIR has a passion for emerging technologies and methodologies and is an astute problem solver who possesses an innovative mindset and is constantly looking to challenge the norm. In his previous roles, HARIR has worked as a Senior Data Engineer at Google Cloud for private companies and news technology services. His responsibilities included building scalable, fault-tolerant, and high-performance ML and data platforms, performing ETL operations on Google Cloud Platform using Cloud Composer, and processing real-time data using cloud pub sub and dataflow. He also designed, developed, and launched extremely efficient and reliable data pipelines to move data and provide intuitive analytics. HARIR has experience in data quality definition, data cleansing, and data treatment/profiling process, and he proactively drives the vision for data engineering across verticals. HARIR is an inspiring and engaging communicator and team player who is able to build positive working relationships with ease. He has recruited, managed, mentored, and inspired a high-caliber technical team and built cross-functional relationships with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to understand data needs and deliver on those needs. HARIR holds an MS degree in Computer Science from Vellore Institute of Technology and has completed his schooling from Vani Vidyalaya and Breeks All India Secondary School Ooty.
